In the Medical Physics
department research is devoted to both analysis of medical
processes using physical methodology and facilitation of medical
procedures by technical means. The department consists of two
sections: Cardiovascular
Physics, specializing in cardiovascular research and Medical
Technology, engaged in Signal Processing, 3D imaging and
Minimally Invasive Techniques.
Since physics and technology play key roles in current medical practice we contribute to courses on the physics of human systems and medical technologies for Medical students. For Physics and Medical Informatics students who intend to find a job in a medical environment we offer Medical Physics courses. |
